Our Customer Experience Team was notified earlier today (Friday, May 26, 2023) of an Outage affecting a small cohort of Customers situated in The Dupplin area.
Remarkably, from the moment we were informed of the incident to the closure of the access chambers by our engineers, the comprehensive and permanent repair took slightly over two hours (specifically, 2 hours and 11 minutes). Completing such extensive work within such a short time frame was a significant achievement, facilitated by the contractors’ informative input and favourable weather conditions. We are pleased to report that our customers were rapidly restored to service, ensuring their seamless connectivity for the upcoming weekend.
Nevertheless, due to the speed at which the repair was executed, there was insufficient time to provide detailed information about the outage before its resolution.
We extend our sincere apologies to anyone who experienced a service disruption this afternoon. However, we are pleased to confirm that your Gigaloch internet access should now be fully restored, enabling you to once again enjoy uninterrupted connectivity.
